Voici une page que j'ai créée pour le weekend Scrapbook Laurentides (11 au 13 avril). Je demande aux participantes d'utiliser des Twinkling H2O sur leur page. Les carrés et les fleurs ont été peints avec les Twinkling.

Here's a layout I created for the Scrapbook Laurentides weekend (April 11-13). My challenge is to use Twinkling H2Os on a layout. The squares and flowers were altered with Twinkling watercolors.

 

Ornements en écorce naturelle Prima / Prima Natural Bark shapes (Scrapbook Laurentides)

Aujourd'hui, sur le forum Scrapbook Laurentides, je vous présente les ornements en écorce naturelle de Prima. Ce sont les coeurs sur ce projet. Le fond de ma page a été fait avec du gesso noir et de la peinture acrylique noire, et j'ai ajouté des vaporisateurs de Lindy's Stamp Gang sur mon fond, mon titre et les fleurs.

Today, on the Scrapbook Laurentides forum, I feature the Natural Bark shapes by Prima (I used the hearts on this projects). My background is made with black gesso and black acrylic paint. I also used some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays on my background, title and flowers.

J'ai créé cette page pour le défi "Souliers plate-formes". Il fallait utiliser seulement le tiers supérieur de la page et cinq ornements en trois dimensions. J'ai été inspirée par la combinaison de couleurs utilisée par Christine Middlecamp sur cette page, que nous avons présentée sur Scraptus la semaine dernière.

I created this layout for the "Platform Heels" challenge. We had to use only one third of the page (top part) and five 3D ornaments. I was inspired by the color combination of this layout by Christine Middlecamp that we featured on Scraptus last week:

50 cartes en 2013 - Semaine 1 / 50 cards in 2013 - Week 1

 Hier après-midi, j'ai eu l'idée folle de me constituer une banque de cartes tout au long de l'année et d'ainsi créer au moins une carte par semaine à compter d'aujourd'hui pour le reste de l'année, excluant la semaine entre Noël et le jour de l'An. Cela représente donc 50 cartes à créer au total. Cependant, je savais que j'aurais besoin d'un défi pour atteindre cet objectif, et donc, j'ai décidé de dresser une liste de consignes et de les diviser en deux catégories, soit le type de carte et ce qu'on retrouvera sur la carte. Donc, j'ai trouvé 53 idées par catégorie (certaines se répètent, comme le thème anniversaire et des couleurs précises à employer), je les ai placées dans deux contenants et j'en ai pigé deux au hasard.

Cette semaine, les consignes sont les suivantes :
1) Carte rectangulaire
2) Ornement(s) : Fleur(s)

Et voici mes deux cartes pour cette semaine. Eh oui, j'étais en feu, j'en ai créé deux! :)

Yesterday afternoon, I had this crazy idea to create a stash of cards over the year and thus, to make at least one card a week every week of the year, except the week between Christmas and New Year's Day, for a grand total of 50 cards. However, I knew that I would need a challenge to be able to achieve this goal, so I decided to write down prompts and to split them into two categories, namely the type of card and what will be featured on the card. So I wrote 53 prompts for each of the two categories (some are recurring, like the birthday theme and specific colors to be used), put them in two containers and chose two randomly.

This week's prompts are as follows:
1) Rectangle card
2) Embellishment(s): Flower(s)

Here are my two cards for this week. Yes, I was on a roll and created two cards! :)

Les Gelatos de Faber-Castell / Gelatos by Faber-Castell

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente une page sur laquelle j'ai utilisé des Gelatos. Que sont les Gelatos? Selon le site de Faber-Castell, ce sont des bâtonnets de pigments bien crémeux et très colorés, qui s'appliquent facilement, couvrent bien la surface et peuvent être mélangés ou dilués, avec ou sans eau.

Pour cette page, qui porte sur les objectifs que je souhaite atteindre avant d'avoir 40 ans, dans 910 jours (!), j'ai utilisé un stencil ainsi que différentes couleurs de Gelatos provenant de la boîte illustrée ci-dessous pour créer un motif arc-en-ciel sur mon fond noir. J'ai ensuite repassé sur chaque cercle avec un pinceau et un peu d'eau pour bien mélanger les couleurs.

La photo a été traitée sur le site photofunia.com. J'ai choisi l'option Sketch sous l'onglet Tab.

Today, I am featuring a layout on which I used Gelatos. What are they? According to the Faber-Castell website, they are compact acid-free pigment sticks that glide on creamy smooth for vibrant color and coverage and that blend easily, with or without water.

For this layout about the goals I want to reach before I turn 40, in 910 days (!), I used a stencil and various colors of Gelatos for the pack featured below to create a rainbow pattern on a black background.  I then used a small paintbrush and a bit of water on each circle to blend the colors together.

I used PhotoFunia, at photofunia.com, to modify my picture. I chose the Sketch option under the Lab tab.

Défi 26 : Peur de la nuit / Challenge #26: Afraid of the night

Pour ce défi, il fallait utiliser un fond noir et une photo en noir et blanc. Voici ma page. Je suis déçue, la photo ne lui rend pas justice, elle est plus belle en vrai! Il est difficile de prendre de belles photos de pages au fond noir. J'ai utilisé la collection Paper Heart de Crate Paper.

For this challenge, we had to use a black background and a black and white photo. Here's my layout. I am a bit disappointed, by the way it looks online, because it looks better in real life. It's hard to take pictures of layouts with a black background. I used the Paper Heart collection by Crate Paper.

Voici donc la première page que j'ai créée dans le cadre de ce crop en ligne. Elle répond au défi 4, Le totem. J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé ce défi! Je n'ai pas le droit de vous dire en quoi il consiste pour le moment, c'est un secret! :)

There's an online crop organized by Scrap et Cie Qc, which lasts until May 31. Here's my page for challenge #4, the totem. I really enjoyed this challenge. However, I am not allowed to tell you what it is about, because it is a secret for now! :)

Le titre dit tout! :) Pour moi, c'est vraiment une page de type clean and simple!

Title says it all. For me, this is a clean and simple page.

Carte avec un transparent / Card with an overlay (Scrapbook Laurentides)

Ce mois-ci, je devais créer une carte avec une acétate. J'ai donc utiliser mes formes de Spellbinders en cercle pour percer deux cercles sur le dessus de ma carte, et j'ai collé un transparent Hambly à l'arrière. J'ai ensuite décoré avec des coeurs découpés au poinçons. Mon titre a été fait à l'ordinateur.

This month, I had to create a card using an overlay. I used my Spellbinders to cut holes in the front of the card, and then glued a Hambly overlay behind. I then put hearts punched out of cardstock and patterned paper. I used Word for the sentiment.
