Aujourd'hui, nous mettons en vedette les couleurs rouge et vert. Voici ma page.

Calendrier de l'Avent / Advent calendar

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente le calendrier de l'Avent que j'ai fabriqué pour ma fille avec ma Silhouette.

Today, I feature the Advent calendar I made for my daughter with my Silhouette.

Tout d'abord, j'ai utilisé les deux fichiers ci-dessous pour découper tous les morceaux de mon calendrier. Comme j'avais besoin de deux calendriers de 12 jours, j'ai dû tout couper en double. OUF! Cela veut dire que j'ai passé VINGT-SIX feuilles de carton dans ma machine, et là-dessus, je ne compte même pas les feuilles de papier à motifs ou encore la feuille de carton noir! :) J'ai utilisé du carton blanc pour la base, mais avec le recul, si j'avais à le refaire, j'utiliserais du carton kraft.

First, I used these two files to cut all the pieces of the calendar. Since I need two 12-day calendars, I cut double the pieces. Phew! This means that TWENTY-SIX 8 x 12 sheets of cardstock went through my machine, and I am not counting the patterned paper sheets nor the black sheet! :) I used white cardstock, but if I had to do it again, I would use kraft cardstock.

Ensuite, j'ai oublié de prendre des photos entre l'étape précédente et la suivante! :) Voici de quoi mon calendrier avait l'air après avoir été altéré avec des Glimmer Mist (en rouge et en brun) et de l'encre noire. / And then, I forgot to take pictures of the steps between the previous picture and the next. Here's what it looked like once assembled, altered with Glimmer Mist (in brown and red) and black ink:

 J'ai ensuite décidé de décorer le dessus, et pour ce faire, j'ai acheté le fichier suivant, encore dans la boutique Silhouette : / Then, I decided to decorate the top. I bought this file, again from the Silhouette Online Store:

J'ai utilisé du carton kraft pour la maison et du Bazzill vert pour le sapin. J'ai altéré les deux avec de l'encre en vaporisateur. / I used kraft cardstock for the house and green Bazzill for the tree. I altered both with mists.

Ensuite, j'ai monté la petite scène sur le dessus de mon calendrier et j'ai ajouté des ornements. J'en ai aussi ajouté sur les tiroirs. Voici le résultat! / Then, I created the winter scene on top of the calendar and added various embellishments. I also added things to the drawers. Here's the result.
 

Et voici le contenu des tiroirs, avant que j'emballe chaque chose séparément. Comme il y a une ouverture dans les tiroirs, je ne voulais pas que ma fille voit d'avance ce qu'il y a dedans! :) / And here's the contents of the drawers, before everything was wrapped individually. Since there's a gap in the drawers, I didn't want my daughter to see what's inside! :)
