Des cartes et encore des cartes! / Cards, cards... and more cards!

I spent a few hours yesterday and the day before creating a few cards that I am now selling in my Etsy shop. I REALLY like the Lime Twist papers by My Mind's Eye: they are perfect for cards! And I am also in love with my Spellbinders! What a great tool they are. Digital stamps are from Meljen's stamps.

Cela peut sembler une drôle d'idée, étant donné que la majorité des gens qui achètent des produits sur Etsy parlent anglais, mais j'ai décidé qu'à partir de maintenant, j'offrirais d'abord et avant tout des produits en français dans ma boutique. Comme je crée des cartes dans le cadre d'appels pour Scrapbook Laurentides, je préfère utiliser des sentiments en français, et je crois qu'il est ainsi plus logique de maintenant vendre des cartes en français! Bien sûr, je vais continuer de vendre des mini-albums vierges et d'autres objets altérés à l'occasion, que n'importe qui pourra acheter. Je sais que vous êtes toutes des "scrapbookeuses" et que vous êtes en mesure de faire vos propres cartes, mais si jamais quelque chose vous intéresse, ou si vous connaissez quelqu'un qui cherche des cartes faites à la main, n'hésitez pas à passer le mot!




It might seem like a weird idea, because most Etsy buyers are English-speaking people, but I have now decided to offer products in French in my Etsy shop. I create cards as part of different calls for Scrapbook Laurentides, and I prefer to use sentiments in French, so it only makes sense to start selling cards in French. Of course, I will from time to time include blank mini-albums and other altered art, which could be purchased by anybody. That being said, feel free to drop by anyways. I know you are all scrapbookers and are able to make your own cards, but should you be interested in something, or if you know somebody who is looking for handmade products, please let me know by sending me a convo... I will surely be able to change the sentiment to an English one.

Du nouveau dans ma boutique Etsy / New in my Etsy shop

Comme vous le savez, j'ai ouvert ma boutique Etsy en mars et j'y vends des cartes faites à la main de même que d'autres objets faits à base de papier et objets altérés. J'ai décidé d'ajouter une autre gamme de produits : des cartes faites à partir de photos que j'ai prises moi-même! Vous savez peut-être que je suis aussi une passionnée de photographie; j'ai donc décidé de mettre aussi mes habiletés dans ce domaine à profit!

Je vends donc ces nouvelles cartes à l'unité et ensemble, selon la thématique. Pour le moment, j'offre huit styles différents, mais j'entends en offrir plus dès que possible. J'ai seulement eu le temps d'afficher les ensembles, mais l'affichage des cartes individuelles ne saurait tarder!

As you are aware, I opened my Etsy shop in March to sell some handmade cards as well as other paper crafts and altered objects. I have decided to add some new products to my shop: blank cards made with pictures I took myself! You may also be aware that I am an avid photographer as well, so I decided to put those skills to work as well!

I am selling those cards individually and in sets. For now, I have 8 differents styles, but I will try to come up with more soon. You can only find sets now because I did not have time to upload individual cards, but I should do that next week!

Ma boutique Etsy / My Etsy shop

Voilà le gros projet dont je vous parlais il y a quelques jours! C'est maintenant officiel : j'ai ouvert ma boutique Etsy. Vous vous souviendrez peut-être qu'il y a quelques temps, j'ai reçu une tag, et j'ai dit que j'aimerais bien faire un peu d'argent avec le scrapbooking? Eh bien, à ce moment, je m'étais déjà inscrite comme vendeuse sur Etsy, mais je n'avais pas eu le temps de me renseigner sur les frais d'envoi aux États-Unis et à l'étranger, ni d'ajouter des articles à vendre. Mais maintenant, tout est prêt, et je suis prête à vendre mes premières choses!

Vous remarquerez que tous les produits que je vends sont en anglais. J'ai procédé ainsi car évidemment, il y a un plus gros marché pour les choses en anglais qu'en français. Par contre, j'ai l'intention de mettre des créations en français sous peu. Je vous en reparlerai!

THAT is the new project I mentionned a few days ago. It's official: my Etsy shop is now open for business. A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I wanted to make a bit of money out of scrapbooking. Well, when I said that, I had already registered as a seller on Etsy, but had not managed to figure out shipping fees (USA and international) and didn't have time to spend on this or to list some items. But now, everything is settled and sorted out, and I am ready to sell my first items!

You'll notice that all my stuff is in English now. I did this because there's obvioulsy a bigger market for stuff in English, but at some point, I will add stuff in French too.
